Open Websites Directly From Fingertips

If you want to open a website, you can just enter the URL in Fingertips and press Enter.

Fingertips will open the address in your default browser. If you want to use a different browser, please update the Default Browser setting in Windows Settings.

As long as the URL starts with one of the following texts, Fingertips will recognize it as a URL and launch your default browser to open the URL:

www.
http://
https://

If your URL doesn't start with one of these characters, you can just type a slash (/) in an empty Fingertips command window. Fingertips will expand that slash into https:// automatically. You can then type the rest of the URL and press Enter.

Or you can use Ctrl+H to add and remove "https://" and "http://" to the text on the command window.

If you open the Fingertips command window, and a URL is on the Clipboard, Fingertips will automatically enter that URL in the Fingertips command window. You only have to press Enter to surf to that URL: Read more.

You can also create a Fingertips command to open a specific web page. Just create a new Fingertips command and specify the web address in the FileName/Url field.
