More Explanation

Run Fingertips.exe
It will hide itself in the Windows taskbar.
Press Ctrl + ` (grave) to bring up the Fingertips command window. You can do this from anywhere in Windows.
Type a command and press Enter to activate that command. Try 'ie', for instance, to start Internet Explorer (or 'ff' for FireFox).
Press the 'Edit', 'New' or 'Setup' button (Alt+E), or right-click the icon in the taskbar to bring up the configuration dialog, where you can set several options.
Type a new command, mnemonic, abbreviation (like 'cashflow') and press the 'New' button to link that new command to an application, a document, a URL or an action.
Add favorites in Internet Explorer (Ctrl+D) with names that do not contain spaces or punctuation.
Fingertips will recognize these favorites as commands.
Press Ctrl+W anywhere in Windows to activate the 'Paste Unformatted' function in Fingertips. Select some formatted text somewhere on the web, and use Ctrl+W in Microsoft Word to see what a time-saver this feature can become to you.
