Known Issues with Fingertips
| • | Typing a Fingertips acronym in some versions of Internet Explorer 7 / 8 or Windows Explorer in Vista and Windows 7 will not expand the acronym. For some people it seems to help to right-click the Fingertips.exe and set it to run as Administrator. A workaround is to open the Fingertips command window (Ctrl+`), type a dot (.) and the acronym and then press Enter. This approach will normally enter the phrase into Internet Explorer anyway. We have tried several solutions to no avail, and are still working on a fix for this. |
